In the United Kingdom, the property market is on a slow road to recovery after suffering during a particularly difficult economic upheaval. It may take a little while before it ever gets back to the good old days, but there is at least a discernible improvement.
Statistically, a new house sale occurs more frequently now than it did a year or so ago, but it will still be a long time before we can safely say that the recession is completely finished. The confidence that was so lacking in the housing industry is slowly starting to return, but it will be a slow process.
